The management of two A-list artists that already topped the Billboard charts for numerous times needed a remix for their new collaboration “Papi“.
Because they consider D-wayne as a young and promising talent he was asked to do a remix for these artists.
The result is a banging remix version on Jennifer Lopez’s and Pitbull’s “Papi“, which will be forthcoming on Def Jam Recordings.

D-wayne performed at Shake It! 2011 at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp. This is the offical aftermovie that should be spelled as AN AFTERMOVIE.
Of D-wayne’s performance at the party are no shots due to some technical problems at that moment.
However …. the music in the first half of THE AFTERMOVIE is a part of his new track. The second half the music is of Hardwell vs Nicky Romero.

From the moment D-wayne’s new track “PUNKd” had been released it received support from various A-list DJs including Steve Aoki and DJ Tiesto.
DJ Tiesto played “PUNKd” in his Clublife podcast no. 238 and it was also part of his set he played during his South America Clublife tour.
This video is shot in Panama where the track is played from 3m32s.

D-wayne’s new track “PUNKd” has been officially released on Dim Mak’s compilation New Noise vol. 1.

Steve Aoki about New Noise:
“New Noise is a compilation of songs by new artists that are producing new breaking tracks from around the world. We’re excited to have all of these different cutting edge artists come together for this compilation.”

The 2011 edition of the Belgian Sunset Festival was visited by 5000 people who were entertained by 50 international artists on three stages.
On mainstage D-wayne won the appreciation of the audience for his perfect taste of high quality House music and his excellent DJ skills.
In this official aftermovie fragments of his performance are on 0m:47s, 0m:51s and 0m:55s.

On Youtube several video compilations have been posted with a part in it where D-wayne’s collab with Jacob van Hage “EPONYM” is being played.
Two of these videos are shown here.


In the upper video (Armin van Buuren performing on Queensday 2011) the fragment where it is played starts on 0h1m30s.
In the bottom video (Gabriel & Dresden on Nocturnal Wonderland 2011 in San Bernardino) it starts on 0h16m45s and you can watch how enthusiastic the crowds reacts to it.

On March 17th D-wayne’s production “IDentity” was officially released on the Spinnin’/Made in NL recordlabel. Because of the tremendous positive feedback on the try-outs of the track the expectations for this new production were also set high again. The preview that was posted a few weeks prior to the official release of this production was viewed over 3600 times.

The track entered on March 18th the Dance Tunes Electro chart Top 100 on place 46 and climbed in five days to place 18!

2011 is the year of D-wayne and Jacob van Hage, whom both set the tone with this outstanding forthcoming release on Steve Aoki’s own recordlabel Dim Mak Records.
Already heavily supported by the biggest artists in the scene, this record is sure to set the dancefloor on fire all over the world.
EPONYM is a collab of D-wayne and Jacob van Hage and will be released officially on March 22nd.

D-wayne released Distance on DJ Afrojack‘s label Wall Recordings. The track’s preview was only two weeks online and then already viewed over 6000 times.
Distance came in the Beatport chart Top 100 for Progressive House to place 28 and in the Dance Tunes chart Top 100 even to place 5.
Artists like Armin van Buuren, Sander van Doorn, Umek, Afrojack, Steve Aoki, Eric van Kleef and many others supported this track.

During the weekend of Nov 6th 2010 DJ Jean played in his show on the Dutch radiostation Slam!FM the D-wayne Dutch Bootleg of the at that moment very populair top 40 hit “Dynamite” from Taio Cruz.
After it had been released for free, it was for 46 consecutive hours on average each minute downloaded from one particular site!

Spinnin’/Made in NL Recordings, is a famous label that has contracts with a large number of well know DJ’s/producers. This release is D-wayne’s first production on their label.
The preview that was posted three weeks prior to the formal release of this production was viewed almost 9000 times.
The production is called “Turn Your Love Around“. The vocal in it is done by Dan’Thony who is a vocalist known from collaborations with the Bingo Players.

Funktion Recordings, a big label in the USA, is following D-wayne for quite a time already and requested him to remix a production that is going to be released in the USA.
The production he has remixed is called “Josh The Funky 1 – Love The World” and to be released on the EP “Love the World” on 30th Nov 2010.
